Freaknik- The Musical Promo! from Frank Holder on Vimeo.

Check out the above promo for the upcoming Adult Swim musical extravaganza "Freaknik - The Musical" which is set to air March 7 on Adult Swim. You might be like "Amy, why do I care about some freaky Adult Swim animated musical?" Well, I'll tell you! Not only is it created by "The Boondocks" creator Carl Jones, "I'm On A Boat" contributor T-Pain, and Adult Swim executive Nick Weidenfeld, but it boasts the involvement of both Andy Samberg and Bill Hader, who voice two of the characters. As if it couldn't get any better, professional weirdo/funk superstar George Clinton is involved. George Clinton, y'all!

Casey Wilson Cast in ABC Pilot

Even though she's no longer a part of SNL, I think we all hold paraplegic stripper close to our hearts. For that reason, I am happy to report that SNL alum Casey Wilson has landed a lead in an upcoming ABC pilot entitled Endings, which “revolves around a couple who, after breaking up at the altar must figure out how they and their four friends can maintain their relationship.”
Even though she wasn't the most popular SNL cast member, I am super happy that Casey has found her feet somewhere. I always thought she was a funny actress, though maybe not the best suited to Saturday Night Live. Who knows? With Endings, SNL might come to regret their decision regarding her axing!
Congrats, girl!

Jason Sudeikis To Be Given A "Hall Pass"

Jason Sudeikis has been confirmed to star in the upcoming Farrelly Brothers' comedy Hall Pass. Also confirmed for the project, which is set to start shooting next week in Atlanta, are Owen Wilson, Jenna Fischer, Amanda Bynes, and Christina Applegate. The movie centres on two men who are given a "pass" to cheat on their wives. It's Jason's first bona-fide lead role, as he plays one of the men in question. The Farrelly Brother are responsible for two of my favourite comedies, Kingpin and There's Something About Mary, so it could be kinda awesome (particularly when three of the most talented comic actresses around right now are attached!)

Zach Galifianakis & Jude Law to Host in March

March will see Zach Galifianakis and Jude Law take to Studio 8H as hosts of Saturday Night Live.
Zach Galifianakis will be joined by Vampire Weekend, while Jude Law, who is promoting the upcoming sci-fi comedy Repo Men, will be joined by the previously announced Pearl Jam.

I did not see Jude Law coming, but I like him fair enough, so should be a good show!
What do you think of these hosts? Are you as excited for ZG as I am?

Betty White to Host SNL With Other Women of Comedy

http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2010/02/21/snl-close-to-land-betty-white/

It worked! Betty White is apparently this close to booking an SNL episode which would see her host alongside female SNL alum Molly Shannon, Tina Fey & Amy Poehler! Ah!
Whether or not this is the episode Tina Fey has discussed hosting in April, I'm not sure, but bottom line - Rose Nylund is coming to Studio 8H.
I come bearing bad news. Tween sensation Justin Bieber is set to be musical guest on SNL April 10. Not too much I can say about this except - "Oi".
