UTSA Students?

"Saturday Night Live" comic Seth Meyers will headline UTSA Roadrunner Days events this year. He will appear onstage for one performance at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 26 in the Convocation Center on the UTSA Main campus -- free to the UTSA community. The event is part of Roadrunner Days, a series of events that kick off the new academic year.

Maybe that's of use to somebody? I don't know.

ATTENTION NEW YORKERS!

Andy Samberg will be playing at the New York Comedy Festival on Sunday 8 November at 8pm a the Town Hall located on 123 West 43rd Street in a show entitled Andy Samberg and Friends.

Something tells me that this show will sell out quickly, so heads up - tickets are on sale to the general public on Monday 17th August at 10 AM EDT. They are available to Citi Cardmembers starting from today at 12 PM EDT until Sunday 16 August at 5 PM EDT.

My favourite part about this show? The "And Friends" part! You just know some awesome comedians/SNL-ers are gonna show up.

This week marks the start of shooting of the next film-based-on-an-SNL-sketch, "Macgruber". As I mentioned previously, SNL writer & Lonely Island member Jorma Taccone will direct the picture. Here's a video from behind-the-scenes that Jorma posted on the Lonely Island YouTube account.
